Affirmative Technology Group offers a line of PC keyboards designed to maximize the productivity of AS/400 and Mainframe users when switching between host and local application programs. YESboard keyboards are high quality, industrial strength units comparable to IBM standards. You should expect years of trouble-free service and fewer input errors due to tactile and audible feedback inherent in the key-switch design.

Several different 122 layouts are available, with 5250 layouts for Midrange users and 3270 versions for Mainframe users. The 122-key format is perfect for a terminal (NPT) user who is migrating to a PC running terminal emulation, because all of the familiar terminal functions are located in exactly the same positions as with the NPT, and PC functions are highlighted in a bright blue color. So the newly introduced PC functions are immediately visible to the operator. The basic rule is: "what is new is in blue"

Other Input Devices

Point of Sale keyboards, available as special order items, include a built in interface supporting an integrated Credit card scanner with an (optional) Bar Code Scanner port to which a Wand or Laser Gun or CCD scanner may be attached. The internal interface converts any of the 12 most widely used bar code symbologies to keystrokes, as if the operator had typed them. This method insures compatibility with existing applications.
